BIOGRAPHY

Art has always been a way for me to express myself and escape the real world in general.

Art has always been in my blood from a young age - From drawing doodles on my moms work papers, to drawing with crayons on the bathroom wall.

I studied art in school under the Mentorship of Denise Hasenjager at Saint Andrews School for Boys in Bloemfontein, Free state - to which my matric final artwork "Our Land" was featured in the GALLERY ON LEVISEUR Art Exibition and was my very first artwork that was sold from an exhibition - That was when I knew my talents must not be put to bed.

My art works are a reflection of who I am and my life story - Most of them are based off of personal understanding and have much deeper meanings than what they appear to have.

I am a free soul and very expressionistic and bold in my style and  prefer a variety of mediums which often times make use of mixed mediums such as Charcoal, pencil, inks, coffee and tea (for staining) - I believe there must always be some mystery to any artwork or piece.
